ABOUT IKAT
Ikat is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs resist dyeing on the yarns prior to dyeing and weaving the fabric. The manufacture of our ikats is a fascinating, precise tie-dye process. Threads are bundled and tied and dyed according to the desired pattern, and then woven on a plain garb, giving a cloth which has the design indelibly embedded within it.
